Outwood Primary Academy Littleworth Grange in Lundwood, Barnsley, invites applications for a dual role as Teaching Assistant and Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). You will support Maths and English in the morning and lead Planning, Preparation and Assessment time in the afternoon, working with staff across the planning cycle.

Qualifications

• Proven HLTA experience is essential.
• Excellent curriculum knowledge.
• Ability to make learning purposeful and raise pupil aspirations.
• Strong teamwork, communication and safeguarding compliance.

Responsibilities

• Morning Sessions (Teaching Assistant): Supporting the teaching and learning of Maths and English under the direction of class teaching staff.
• Afternoon Sessions (HLTA): Taking a lead in the classroom by covering the Planning, Preparation, and Assessment (PPA) time of class teachers.
• Work across the planning cycle and collaborate with teaching staff on classroom management.
