Job summary

Collingham LEH CofE Primary School in Collingham, West Yorkshire, is seeking a dedicated combined Teaching Assistant and Higher Level Teaching Assistant. The role covers TA duties and HLTA duties within Key Stage 1 or 2, with hours from 8:50am to 12:00pm for TA and 13:00 to 15:15 for HLTA, Monday to Friday.

The ideal candidate holds an HLTA qualification with primary school TA experience, and will support teaching and learning across year groups, covering PPA and providing flexible absence cover

Qualifications

• Hold a recognised HLTA qualification alongside proven experience as a teaching assistant within a primary school setting.
• Act as an experienced primary school practitioner who actively enhances and develops the interaction, communication, and educational needs of all pupils.
• Utilise HLTA expertise to cover PPA and release time for teachers across all year groups with a flexible attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of teaching and learning in either Key Stage 1 or 2.
• Cover PPA and provide release time for teachers across year groups.
• Report pupil progress and support inclusion with a high quality classroom presence.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment for all pupils.
