Builth Wells Primary is a dual stream primary school for children aged 4-11 years.
Some of our children learn primarily through the medium of Welsh and some primarily through English. Although dual stream, we are very much one school and are proud that all our children are encouraged to identify as citizens of Wales and the wider world. Within the school building, we have eight classrooms, four in each stream and we host an Area Learning Support Class on behalf of the Local Authority. We also have a Welsh medium pre-school group, Cylch yn yr Ysgol, and a Ti a Fi bilingual parent and toddler group.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, kind and caring teaching assistant with high expectations of learning and behaviour, to support learning within the English stream ofour school. Applicants must have the skills and qualifications necessary to fulfil the role.
This position has a requirement for an Enhanced DBS Check
