Brookhaven is a specialist school in Bury seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support SEND pupils, starting September 2026. The role involves working under teaching staff to deliver guided work, care and classroom support to enable learning.
We welcome candidates with NVQ2 in teaching assistance, team spirit, safeguarding awareness, and strong numeracy and literacy. The ability to promote a positive ethos is essential for this role.
We are seeking to appoint an experienced Teaching Assistant to work with the SEND pupils within our specialist school. The main purpose of the role is to work under the instruction/guidance of teaching staff to undertake work/care/support programmes, to enable access to learning for pupils and to assist the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.
