Job summary

Academics is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support children with complex disabilities across Wirral. The role involves 1:1 and small-group support, assisting with learning, personal care and PEG feeding, in a settings-driven environment.

Based in Wirral or surrounding areas, you will work with children who have complex physical and communication needs, using positive behavioural strategies to promote development and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Be based in Wirral or surrounding areas, or be willing to travel.
• Have previous experience in a classroom or working with children.
• Be confident in providing 1:1 support.
• Be experienced in PEG feeding and providing personal care.

We are looking for a caring, dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant for Children with Complex Disabilities to join a range of schools across Wirral to support children and young people with complex disabilities. This is a highly rewarding role for someone who is compassionate, nurturing, and confident in providing both educational and 1:1 support.
