Aspire People in Bury are recruiting Teaching Assistants for regular school work across local schools. You will support teachers, provide one-to-one and small-group support, and help maintain a safe, inclusive learning environment.

A relevant TA qualification is required; references from the last two years are needed; safeguarding and enhanced DBS checks will be arranged. This role offers regular opportunities and a chance to gain experience across different school settings.

Qualifications

• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification.
• References covering the last two years of employment and/or relevant activity history.
• All gaps in employment or activity history must be fully explained and accounted for.
• A patient, caring and positive approach to supporting children.

Responsibilities

• Supporting teachers with day-to-day classroom activities.
• Providing one-to-one and small-group support to pupils.
• Helping create a positive, safe and inclusive learning environment.
• Supporting pupils with their learning, behaviour and development.
• Assisting with classroom preparation and general classroom duties.
