Job summary

Aspire People are seeking experienced Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Manchester. These roles include daily supply, part-time, and longer-term placements from November 2026 onwards.

Applicants with recent UK school experience, strong teamwork and flexibility are encouraged to apply. Roles cover EYFS to KS2 and SEND support, with start dates matching school requirements and safeguarding commitments prioritised.

Qualifications

• Recent UK-based school experience within the last two years.
• Previous TA or comparable school support experience.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexible, dependable and professional approach.
• Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.

Responsibilities

• Support teachers with daily classroom activities.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group learning support.
• Assist with reading, writing, maths and other curriculum activities.
• Help maintain positive behaviour and classroom routines.
• Support pupils with SEND where required.
• Prepare resources and assist with classroom organisation.
• Encourage pupil confidence, participation and independence.
