Job summary

Education Supply Pool Ltd. is recruiting Teaching Assistants to support day-to-day, short-term and long-term positions for Caldicot and surrounding areas. A minimum NVQ Level 2 or equivalent is required, with PAYE employment.

Appointments involve assisting in UK Primary/Secondary classrooms, preparing lessons, and providing engaging activities while ensuring safety and hygiene. DBS check and references are part of the vetting process, with a variety of placements available to fit your schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 months experience inside a UK Primary or Secondary classroom or teaching assistant environment.
• Assist with preparing lessons in all areas of the school curriculum with consideration of varied levels of student abilities.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain a positive attitude.
• Provide simulating activities whilst ensuring hygiene and safety rules.
• Maintain a supportive and clean classroom environment.
• Be attentive to the unique needs of each student and be able to identify proper solutions when children encounter issues.
• Great communication skills to collaborate with other teachers and families when needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist with teaching activities and lesson preparation.
• Support students under guidance of a teacher.
• Promote a safe and engaging learning environment.
