Teaching Assistant - initially 1 year fixed-term contract from September 2025, with the potential to become permanent
We are looking to appoint a Learning Support Assistant to work as part of our friendly team, driving improvement and supporting the learning of all children at Trinity Road Primary School in our inclusive community. We are seeking people who have had experience in childcare or education settings.
The post involves working with individuals, groups and whole classes of children and may be within different classes or age groups, according to the changing needs of learners. This will require someone who is flexible and open minded yet also seeks to ensure the best outcomes for children. It is a good opportunity to understand both child development and academic journeys for our young people.
You will need:
A commitment to meeting the needs of all pupils, including more able pupils and those with a Special Educational Needs and English as an additional Language.
To work flexibly and be adaptable to work across the school
To be proactive and willing to learn and apply new skills
Work well as part of a team working with senior leaders, class teachers and families.
To be self- motivated, intuitive and accountable
