Travail Education are a friendly, family run Teacher Recruitment agency based in Grantham and we have been working closely with our client Primary schools in the local area for many years and we have been approached to secure the services of a Teaching Assistant on a full time, long term basis in EYFS. The school is based on the outskirts of Grantham and is a popular primary school in the area. You will get the opportunity to work as a class Teaching Assistant under the direction of the class teacher but some 1-2-1 work may be required from time to time. All relevant Teaching Assistant qualifications are considered from Level 1 to Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTA's).

So if you're a Teaching Assistant local to Grantham with at least 6 months recent experience in the classroom, ideally within EYFS and familiar with the framework, with a calm and flexible approach, then we have work for you, the proposed start date is immediate until the end of the Summer Term.

Although this position is on a supply basis, this could also lead to a full time permanent role for the right Teaching Assistant.

Our client Primary schools are very welcoming of our Teaching Assistants, you will be well supported, please note that you will be expected to be in school for an 08.30 start and finish at 3.30pm.

Any SEN experience is highly desirable, although not essential.

All Primary Teaching Assistants who register with Travail Education will have 2 years professional references taken up and will be required to have an enhanced DBS check completed and be on the Update Service, you will also be required to attend a face to face registration in our Grantham office!
