Qualifications

• Expérience de travail avec des enfants dans un cadre éducatif, de préférence dans le cadre EYFS.
• Expérience antérieure avec des besoins éducatifs spéciaux (SEN) souhaitable.

GSL Education is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS SEN Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant school community in Lincoln.

Job Summary

• Assist in planning and implementing educational activities tailored to the needs of SEN children.
• Support the child's learning and development within the EYFS framework, ensuring they can access the curriculum at their level.
• Ensure the learning environment is safe, supportive, and conducive to learning for all children, particularly those with SEN.
• Implement safeguarding policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and group support to children with special educational needs in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Assist the class teacher in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Help with the planning and delivery of tailored educational activities.
• Monitor and record students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
• Foster a safe and positive classroom atmosphere.

The successful candidate will:

• Experience working with children in an educational setting, preferably within the EYFS framework.
• Previous experience with special educational needs (SEN) is highly desirable.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed.
• Relevant qualifications in childcare or education are advantageous.
