Job summary

The St. Mary's CofE Primary School is seeking a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our friendly team on a part-time basis (18 hours per week). This term-time role supports Nursery and Reception pupils, helping with play-based learning, phonics and foundational skills, across 1:1 and small-group settings in a busy, village school community.

Start date is asap; hours are Mon-Wed 8:45am-3:15pm. We value a nurturing, enthusiastic approach and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience or strong understanding of EYFS and Key Stage 1 development.
• Ability to support children 1:1, in small groups, and across continuous provision.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-player attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support continuous provision and guide interactive play-based learning.
• Assist with core foundational skills including phonics programme.
• Support a mixed-age EYFS class (Nursery & Reception) in a busy learning environment.

St Mary's CE Primary School is seeking a dedicated Grade 3 Teaching Assistant to join the team in our EYFS Class. This is a wonderfully unique opportunity to support our mixed-age class of Nursery & Reception children within a fun, busy, and happy learning environment.

You will play an integral role in supporting continuous provision, helping guide interactive play-based learning, and assisting with core foundational skills (including our phonics programme).
