About the Role:
Aspire People is seeking a highly motivated and qualified Primary Teaching Assistant to work across a range of schools in Northampton. You'll play a vital role in supporting class teachers and providing tailored assistance to students who require additional support, particularly in managing their behaviour and staying engaged in lessons. Your strong behaviour management skills will be key to maintaining a positive, respectful, and productive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support primary school students in their learning, helping them engage with lesson content and activities.

Implement effective behaviour management strategies to promote a positive classroom atmosphere.

Assist children with special educational needs (SEN) and help them achieve their academic potential.

Work closely with the class teacher to provide targeted support, both academically and behaviourally.

Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.

Encourage positive behaviour and help students develop social skills.

Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where every child can thrive.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

A Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.

Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school setting.

Proven expertise in managing challenging behaviour and delivering successful behaviour interventions.

A genuine passion for supporting children and helping them succeed.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Flexibility and a proactive attitude towards tackling challenges in the classroom.
