Job summary

Willows is looking for an enthusiastic, caring and flexible Teaching Assistant / Cover Supervisor to join our exceptional school team and provide cover across school from Nursery to Year 6.

The successful candidate will support learning and development, create a positive, safe and engaging learning environment, and work collaboratively with teachers and support staff.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, ideally in a school setting.
• Enthusiastic, reliable, flexible and approachable.
• Confident across different year groups.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Committed to supporting learning, wellbeing and development of every child.

Responsibilities

• Provide cover across the school from Nursery to Year 6.
• Support and supervise pupils in the absence of their class teacher or other staff.
• Assist with the delivery of engaging learning activities.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff.
• Promote positive behaviour and high expectations.
• Build positive relationships with children, staff and families.
• Adapt to the needs of different year groups and classroom environments.
