Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. in Cheltenham is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with SEN on a 1:1 basis and in small intervention sessions. The role covers classroom learning, school trips, and out-of-class activities during the full school day.

Experience with SEN, especially ASD, and a proactive, confident approach to working with children are highly valued. A relevant educational background and DBS check assistance are available through Teaching Personnel.

Job description

Previous experience working with a child with SEN would be advantageous but the role is open to any teaching assistants who would like to develop their SEN knowledge. The student that you will be working with requires full time support during the school day including classroom sessions, on school trips and out of classroom learning. You will be working with the pupil on a 1:1 basis and in small intervention sessions to provide a unique and comfortable learning environment.
