Wales/ temporary / £12.83 - 12.83 per hour

We are looking to take on an experienced Teaching Assistant. The successful Teaching Assistant will have the opportunity to work in a fantastic Further Education setting in the heart of Merthyr Tydfil, with staff who are committed to ensuring the progression and success of their students, in a learning environment that promotes high-quality learning and skills development.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work alongside the Tutors with NEET Students, who require strong and consistent mentors to guide them. We are looking for someone with a diverse and relevant background in areas such as social and youth work.

Our successful Teaching Assistant will:

• Have experience with challenging behaviours
• Have social/youth worker, diverse background experience
• Have great behavioural management skills/experience with challenging behaviour
• Have a basic understanding of Well-being, Employability, Essential Skills, soft/hard skills, and life skills
