Job summary

Beaucroft Foundation School is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join our passionate team at Wimborne (College) or Colehill (School). The role is full-time and term-time only, with working hours from 8:45am to 3:45pm, Monday to Friday, including a lunch break.

You will support pupils, including those with SEND, in a caring and stable learning environment. You will work with teachers and a team of TAs in small groups, providing flexible and exemplary support to meet the needs of our learners across

• Experience of and be confident in supporting young people with SEND, including those with complex needs.
• Exemplary communication skills and a flexible approach.
• Able to work well in small groups and with a supportive team.

We are currently recruiting to expand our brilliant staff team and strengthening it further in all areas of the school and college. We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who will be based at our Wimborne (College) or Colehill (School) sites with a “can do” attitude. This position is offered on a full time, term-time only basis.

The role involves assisting the teacher and other teaching assistants in the development and implementation of a program of work and in providing a stable, caring and supportive learning environment for the pupils. You will be part of a team that is experienced and supportive where you can really get to know the pupils and your colleagues whilst working with pupils in small groups. The role is very varied, with no one day being the same, whilst being extremely rewarding. The working hours are 8:45am to 3:45pm with half an hour for lunch Monday to Friday.
