Job summary

Dorset Council UK in Weymouth is seeking an experienced, motivated Teaching Assistant to join our Thrive Team.

You will work 30 hours per week, term-time only, supporting children’s emotional wellbeing and learning across the Thrive nurture base and classroom to help children overcome barriers and thrive.

We Are Looking For Someone Who Is

• Passionate about supporting children's wellbeing and learning.
• Able to build strong, trusting relationships with children, staff and families.
• Understanding of how children learn and develop.
• Patient, compassionate and adaptable.

ELSA or Thrive training, or experience supporting children with attachment difficulties and trauma, would be desirable but not essential.
