Job summary

Protocol Education is seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support children across primary schools in Carshalton, Epsom and nearby areas. You’ll help pupils grow in confidence, assist teachers in delivering lessons, and provide targeted 1:1 or small group support daily.

Role focuses on welcoming, encouraging presence in the classroom and promoting inclusion for SEND pupils, with Thrive training offered to develop skills further.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils in KS1 or KS2.
• Ability to support 1:1 and small groups effectively.
• Experience with pupils who have SEND and promoting inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils across KS1 or KS2 in daily activities.
• Assist the class teacher to bring lessons to life.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support where needed.
• Encourage SEND pupils to feel confident, included and supported.
• Build positive, nurturing relationships to aid academic and emotional growth.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
