Job summary

South Farnham School (Infants) is seeking a caring Teaching Assistant and Breakfast Club Assistant to support pupils' learning and to help deliver a welcoming Breakfast Club each morning.

You will assist teaching and learning under the direction of the class teacher, work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning, and support pupils' social, emotional and behavioural development in a safe, inclusive environment.

Responsibilities

• Supporting teaching and learning activities under the direction of the class teacher.
• Working with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning.
• Supporting pupil's social, emotional and behavioural development.
• Encouraging independence, confidence and positive attitudes to learning.
• Preparing and organising classroom resources.
• Helping to maintain a safe, inclusive and simulating learning environment.
• Supervising and supporting pupils during Breakfast Club.
• Ensuring children enjoy a healthy, positive start to the school day.
• Leading or facilitating simple games, activities and social opportunities during Breakfast Clubs.
• Ensuring the wellbeing, safety and safeguarding of all pupils at all times.
• Working effectively as part of the wider school team.

We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant and Breakfast Club Assistant to join our Friendly team at South Farnham School (Infants) This is a rewarding dual-role position that combines supporting pupil's learning throughout the school day with helping to deliver a safe, welcoming and engaging Breakfast Club each morning. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting children's academic, social and emotional development while ensuring pupil's start their day positively and ready to learn. Working Hours

• Breakfast Club Assistant : 07:45am - 08:45am
• Teaching Assistant: 08:50 am - 15:05pm
• Supporting teaching and learning activities under the direction of the class teacher.
• Working with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce learning.
• Supporting pupil's social, emotional and behavioural development.
