Swavesey Village College is seeking a passionate Teaching Assistant to support student learning and access to the curriculum. You will work under the direction of the Class Teacher to help pupils realise their potential and assist with classroom management.

The role is 14.75 hours per week over three days (8:45am–3:10pm) for 38 weeks per year. GCSE English Language is required. Meridian Trust offers CPD opportunities and a supportive benefits package.

Qualifications

• GCSE English Language or equivalent required.
• Experience supporting pupils with diverse needs is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise activities for small groups or 1:1 to support learning.
• Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students.
• Establish and maintain supportive relationships with pupils.
• Assist the Class Teacher with classroom management and organisation.
