Job summary

ANZUK Education is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support primary pupils at Yeovil. You will work with KS1/KS2 classes, including SEND and SEMH learners, to help them access learning and thrive in school.

You’ll assist teachers with lesson delivery, manage behaviour, and foster an inclusive classroom culture. A positive, proactive attitude and right to work in the UK are essential.

Qualifications

  • Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to apply through ANZUK
  • Experience supporting primary-aged children in a school or childcare setting
  • Understanding of SEND and how to adapt support to individual learning needs
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for helping children succeed

Teaching Assistant

Location: Yeovil
Pay: £92.59 - £112.50 per day
Contract: Temporary, Flexible, Day‑to‑Day & Long‑Term Opportunities

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment. You will support pupils across KS1 and KS2, including children with SEND and SEMH needs, helping them access learning and thrive in school.
