Job summary

The Hawthorns Primary School is seeking a confident Teaching Assistant who is passionate about supporting primary-aged children to achieve their very best. You will provide high-quality classroom support and deliver targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions for children with a range of additional needs.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting pupils with additional needs, including SEN, ASD and SEMH.
  • Proven track record delivering effective interventions and leading small-group learning.
  • Consistently high expectations of pupils’ achievement, behaviour and independence.
  • Able to deliver targeted 1:1 and small-group interventions.
  • Collaborative team player with effective communication.

Weare seeking to appoint a confident, skilled and enthusiastic Teaching Assistantwho is passionate about supporting primary-aged children to achieve their verybest. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced practitioner to make areal difference by inspiring, motivating and nurturing a love of learning inevery child. The role will include providing high-quality classroom support, aswell as delivering targeted 1:1 and small group interventions for children witha range of additional needs.
