Job summary

Education Matters Group in London is seeking a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in Bethnal Green (E2 0RB). The role is full-time, temporary, with a September start, at £135 per day, from 8:20am to 3:45pm.

You will support the EYFS class teacher with phonics, early literacy and numeracy, provide one-to-one and small group support, encourage positive behaviour, and ensure safeguarding. An enhanced DBS is preferred or willingness to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Must have a Level 3 EYFS certificate.
• Experience in EYFS or Primary setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the EYFS class teacher with daily classroom activities.
• Assisting with phonics, early literacy and numeracy development.
• Providing one-to-one and small group support where required.
• Encouraging positive behaviour and social development.
• Supporting children's learning through play-based activities.

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming Primary School in the Bethnal Green area.

This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive Early Years setting, assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging and structured learning activities tailored to young learners.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Must have a Level 3 EYFS certificate (Please do not apply if you have your Level 3 EYFS)
• Experience working within an EYFS or Primary setting
• A strong understanding of the EYFS framework
• A nurturing, patient and proactive approach
• Excellent communication skills
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
