Job summary

Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated Graduate Teaching Assistant for a Secondary school in the Hertfordshire area. The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate looking to begin a career in education.

This is a full-time classroom support role with hours 8:00am to 4:00pm, starting ASAP and lasting until the end of the academic year. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree (or equivalent), be eligible to work in the UK, and be willing to complete safeguarding training.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelors degree (or equivalent)
• Experience supporting children or young people (preferred but not essential)

• Up-to-date safeguarding training issued in the last year (or willing to complete)

TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an Enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one)
• Provide two professional references that cover the last 2 years
