The Teaching Assistant post involves supporting within classrooms in partner Schools across South East London. The ideal candidate will be a clear communicator, be dedicated, be a good role model and be passionate about building rapport with students.
Hours of employment: 8am – 3pm, Monday – Friday, full-time ideally.
You will need eligibility to work in the UK and be willing to apply for DBS disclosure.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will be exposed to students of various abilities. You will analyse data and develop skills to raise attainment through numeracy and literacy tasks, lesson plans, and monitoring data. You will learn and implement strategies to support students’ engagement with the curriculum.
As a new member of staff, you will receive an induction by Prospero and be allocated a line manager at the school, typically the Higher Learning Teaching Assistant and SENCO. You will also be supported by Prospero. Regular meetings and CPD training sessions are provided by Prospero and the school to support your learning and development. Resources at the school are well resourced with a supportive team.
