Job summary

Connex Education Partnership is recruiting a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a Catholic Primary School's EYFS team, supporting children in the Reception provision.

This full-time, term-time only role starts January, with duties across indoor and outdoor EYFS activities, small-group learning, SEND support, classroom prep, and promoting a nurturing, positive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Holds a recognised Level 3 EYFS qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience working with young children, ideally in Reception.
• Positive, patient and nurturing approach.

Responsibilities

Are you a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity?

We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a supportive Catholic Primary School for a motivated and nurturing Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their welcoming EYFS team, supporting children within their Reception provision.

The Role:

• Support children’s learning across indoor and outdoor EYFS provision.
• Deliver small-group learning activities tailored to individual needs.
• Support children’s development, including those with SEND.
• Assist the class teacher with classroom preparation and resources.
• Promote positive behaviour and create a nurturing learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Holds a recognised Level 3 EYFS qualification (or equivalent).
• Has experience working with young children, ideally in Reception.
• Has a positive, patient and nurturing approach.
• Demonstrates strong communication and behaviour management skills.
• Is confident supporting children with additional needs.
• Can work effectively as part of a supportive team.
• Shares and respects the Catholic ethos of the school.
