We are looking for full-time Teaching Assistants/Classroom Assistants to join our team at New Barn School.

  • Salary: £22,300 per annum (not pro rata)
  • Location: New Barn School, The Long Barn, Welford, RG20 8HZ
  • Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only
  • Hours: 40 hours per week; Monday to Friday 8:30am-4:30pm (includes a 5pm finish)

We welcome applications from both experienced teaching assistants in special education and mainstream colleagues passionate about complex SEND.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work directly with pupils and young people, helping them maximize their educational potential. You will prepare learning materials, facilitate classroom activities, and support their emotional and physical needs, fostering their development and engagement with the world.
