Long Term Futures is seeking a resilient and proactive Teaching Assistant to work full-time on a long-term temporary basis in Ripley. You’ll support the class teacher, deliver targeted interventions, and provide 1:1 support across KS1–KS2 and SEND/SEMH needs.

You’ll work closely with pupils to enable safe, engaging lessons, build rapport with students across year groups, and contribute to a stable learning environment. DBS checks apply.

Formación

• Experience supporting KS1 and KS2
• Ability to adapt activities for diverse learners
• Strong behaviour management and ability to build rapport with students across year groups
• Long-term commitment to a placement
• Experience delivering targeted interventions

Responsabilidades

• Assist the class teacher with day-to-day running of lessons
• Provide targeted interventions to pupils with SEN needs (ASD etc)
• Support students from Year 1 to Year 6 in curriculum activities
• Provide 1:1 support and small group work
• Ensure pupils are safe and secure at all times

Long Term Futures are seeking a resilient and proactive Teaching Assistant to work on a full time long term temporary basis. The role itself is based in Ripley and would be helping students with the curriculum and 1:1 support where needed. Flexibility will be required and a willingness to work with both KS1 and KS2 along with supporting SEND and SEMH needs as and when required.

About the Role:

• Teaching Assistants support the class teacher with the running of the class
• Providing targeted interventions to students with ASD and other related SEN needs
• Supporting students from Year 1-6 in their curriculum
• 1:1 support and small group based work
• Ensuring the pupils are safe and secure at all times

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Teaching Assistant qualification would be advantageous
• A creative approach to learning and the flexibility to adapt activities and strategies to meet the diverse needs of children
• Strong behaviour management and the ability to build rapport with students across all year groups
• Reliable and committed to a long-term placement
• Proven experience delivering targeting interventions
