Long Term Futures is seeking a resilient and proactive Teaching Assistant to work on a full time long term temporary basis, assisting students with the curriculum and providing 1:1 support where needed.

The role requires flexibility to work with KS1 and KS2, support SEND and SEMH needs in classrooms or SEN provisions, and to collaborate with the class teacher, SENCo, and SLT to deliver targeted interventions.

Qualifications

• Teaching Assistant qualification would be advantageous.
• Creative approach to learning with flexibility to adapt activities and strategies to meet diverse needs.
• Strong behaviour management and the ability to build rapport with students across all year groups.
• Reliable and committed to a long-term placement.

Responsabilités

• Assist the class teacher with the running of the class.
• Provide targeted interventions to students with ASD and other related SEN needs.
• Support students from Year 1-6 in their curriculum.
• 1:1 support and small group based work.
• Ensure the pupils are safe and secure at all times.

Long Term Futures are seeking a resilient and proactive Teaching Assistant to work on a full time long term temporary basis. The role itself would be helping students with the curriculum and 1:1 support where needed.

Flexibility will be required and a willingness to work with both KS1 and KS2 along with supporting SEND and SEMH needs as and when required whether this be in the classroom or in the SEN provisions.

About the Role:

Working closely with the class teacher, SENCo, and SLT your duties will include:

• Teaching Assistants support the class teacher with the running of the class
• Providing targeted interventions to students with ASD and other related SEN needs
• Supporting students from Year 1-6 in their curriculum
• 1:1 support and small group based work
• Ensuring the pupils are safe and secure at all times

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Teaching Assistant qualification would be advantageous
