About The Role

As a Primary Teaching Assistant with Monarch Education, you will play a crucial role in supporting the class teacher and assisting with the educational and social development of primary school pupils. Your responsibilities may include:

Providing one-to-one or small group support to children with their learning.
Assisting with the preparation of learning materials and classroom displays.
Helping to manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
Supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) or disabilities.
Supervising children during break times and lunchtimes.
Assisting with school trips and other extracurricular activities.
Fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment where all children feel valued.

We Are Looking For Individuals Who Are

Experienced in working with primary school-aged children (either paid or voluntary).
Patient, adaptable, and empathetic.
Excellent communicators with both children and adults.
Able to work effectively as part of a team.
Proactive and willing to take initiative.
Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Ideally, holding a relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification), though experience will also be highly valued.
