Teaching assistant - Twickenham
Start Sept 25' - Mainstream secondary school
We are currently working with a mainstream secondary school in Twickenham. They are looking for an SEN teaching assistant to work with SEN students aged 11-16. The role may involve occasional personal care. The ideal candidate will have a support worker/care background and be trained in using hoists and wheelchair handling, as the role involves moving students from wheelchair to chair. Good behaviour management skills and experience working with SEN pupils in a school setting are desirable. The Teaching Assistant will support students in targeting their specific needs.
The school is located near a mainline train station with various local bus routes. Parking is available on site.
