Daily Rate: £90 - £97

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant for a primary school in the Truro area. The school prides itself on being friendly and welcoming, committed to meeting all children’s needs. We are looking for someone who shares the school’s understanding and morals.

Requirements:

• Level 3 qualification in supporting teaching
• GCSE grade C or higher in Math and English
• Experience working with and supporting children in the classroom
• Experience supporting teaching staff within the classroom
• Ability to plan, deliver, and manage the classroom under the teacher’s supervision

Skills and Responsibilities:

• Strong understanding of the national curriculum
• Confidence to work independently with a group of students
• Behaviour management skills
• Knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures
• Support and promote independent learning

Applicants must have a Child Workforce DBS subscribed to the Update Service. Assistance is available for applying for a new check, costing £49.50 plus an annual Update Service fee of £16.

All pay rates include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary role, with potential for permanent placement later.
