Job summary

TipTopJob in Plymouth is seeking a 1:1 Supply Teaching Assistant to support pupils across primary and secondary settings. This role offers flexibility with the option to choose your working days, while following fixed school hours (8:30 AM to 3:30 PM) during term time.

You will provide dedicated academic and emotional support, adapt tasks to individual learning needs, collaborate with staff on IEPs, and help develop social and behavioural skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in a UK school or care-based setting.
• 1:1 support experience with pupils.
• GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4 or equivalent.
• Patient, professional and resilient approach to classroom challenges.
• Right to Work in the UK and Enhanced DBS (Update Service).

• Previous experience supporting young people on a 1:1 basis.
• GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent in English and Mathematics.
• Patient, professional, and resilient approach to classroom challenges.
• Valid Right to Work in the UK and an Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or readiness ).
