Job summary

You will work across primary and secondary settings, gaining valuable experience while avoiding long-term planning duties. Applicants should have 1:1 support experience, strong communication, and a willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check.

Pay Rate: GBP92.56 : GBP95.00 per day (Weekly Pay)

Hours: 8:30 AM : 3:30 PM (Monday to Friday, Term Time)

About The Role

This role offers the chance to make a genuine difference in a childs learning journey without the commitment of lesson planning or weekend marking. You will provide dedicated 1:on:1 academic, social, and emotional support to individual pupils, helping them build confidence and access the curriculum effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support to tailored pupils throughout the school day.
• Adapt classroom tasks to suit the individual childs learning needs and goals.
• Foster a positive, encouraging, and safe learning environment.
• Help implement individual education plans (IEPs) alongside the class teacher.
• Assist with emotional regulation, behaviour management, and building social skills.

Requirements And Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting children or young people on a 1:1 basis.
• Patient, proactive, and resilient approach with strong communication skills.
• Good standard of English and Maths (GCSE Grade C/4 or equivalent).
• An Enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or willingness for one).
• Valid Right to Work in the UK.
