The Crossways Schools in Thornbury are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join the EYFS team. The role covers supporting whole classes and individual children, with 12 hours and 30 minutes per week during term time.

The successful candidate will have TA qualification, experience with SEND, and strong literacy and numeracy; you will provide feedback to teachers and contribute to pupil attainment and wellbeing.

Formación

• Have recognised Teaching Assistant qualification, equivalent to NVQ level 2.
• Experience working with children as a TA in a school.
• Experience with children individually and in group situations, including those with SEND.
• Demonstrate sound literacy and numeracy skills.
• Able to communicate effectively with pupils to address individual needs and development.
• Ability to work without supervision and give accurate feedback to teachers regarding progress and needs.
