The Bishop's Church of England Primary Academy is seeking a caring Teaching Assistant to support teachers and pupils in a positive learning environment. You will assist with classroom activities, help pupils engage with tasks, and contribute to a calm and welcoming atmosphere.

The role is part-time (32.5 hours per week), term time plus one week, with working hours 08:15 to 15:45. The post is fixed to November 2026 or ASAP thereafter and requires safeguarding checks and DBS clearance.

We are looking for a caring, proactive and reliable Teaching Assistant to join our team. You will support both teachers and pupils, helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment.

You’ll be patient, approachable, and able to assist with a range of classroom activities, ensuring all children feel supported and encouraged to do their best.

Working Hours

The exact working pattern will be agreed with the successful candidate at interview but will fall within our academy hours of 08:15 -15:45.
