St John's Church of England Academy in Tees Valley is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join a supportive team. You will assist in class, run small group activities and support children with additional needs to access the curriculum.
Ideal candidates will be highly motivated, have strong English, work well with others and contribute to school life beyond the classroom, in a caring Christian ethos.
Applicants should possess relevant teaching assistant qualifications or equivalent, a high level of basic skills and be able to work as part of a team. They should also be prepared to support children within the classroom and work with groups or individual children with additional needs from a range of classes as required.

Have a high standard of spoken and written English.

Has excellent relations with children of all ages and can deal with situations in a calm and professional manner.
