U-Educate are currently looking for Teaching Assistants for schools-based in the Tamworth B77 & B79 area. We work with both primary and secondary schools in this area and have different roles available from day-to-day and also short/long term placements.
For teaching assistant roles we will require you to have experience in this type of role from 1:1 mentoring/ support etc.. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supervision of students on a 1:1 or small group basis
• Provide additional learning support as identified
• Engage, motivate and encourage students to complete work set
• Make sure all students are focused and on track to meet their lesson objectives
• Support the class teacher to manage classroom behaviour
• Provide feedback to the classroom teacher on student’s progress and development

Requirements

• Previous teaching assistant experience
• Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
• Ability to pass an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check to work with children
• Up to date Safeguarding Training (You can undertake a free course with U-educate if you have not got a safeguarding certificate dated within the last 12 months)
