Job summary

Long Term Futures Ltd in Sutton is seeking a proactive Teaching Assistant to support the curriculum and provide 1:1 assistance across KS1 and KS2 with SEND/SEMH needs. The role is full-time, long-term temporary, based in the Sutton area and starts ASAP.

The package includes weekly pay and free CPD such as Behaviour Management and SEMH support training. The ideal candidate will have a TA qualification (advantageous), strong behaviour management, reliability, and a flexible approach to work with

Qualifications

• Teaching Assistant qualification would be advantageous.
• Strong behaviour management and the ability to build rapport with students across all year groups.
• Proven experience delivering targeted interventions.
• Experience supporting students with ASD and SEMH needs is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Teaching Assistants support the class teacher with the running of the class.
• Providing targeted interventions to students with ASD and other related SEN needs.
• Supporting students from Year 1-6 in their curriculum.
• 1:1 support and small group based work; ensuring pupils are safe and secure at all times.

Long Term Futures are seeking a resilient and proactive Teaching Assistant to work on a full time long term temporary basis. The role itself is based in the Sutton area and would be helping students with the curriculum and 1:1 support where needed. Flexibility will be required and a willingness to work with both KS1 and KS2 along with supporting SEND and SEMH needs as and when required.

About the Role:
