Job summary

Outcomes First Group in Suffolk is seeking a Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional and complex needs at Wetheringsett Manor. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support alongside teachers and specialists to deliver engaging learning experiences.

You will aid academic progress and social-emotional development, creating a safe, nurturing environment where pupils can grow in confidence. Start October 2026, 37.5 hours weekly.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, ideally in a SEN or specialist setting.
• Ability to deliver one-to-one and small group support.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

About the Role

As a Teaching Assistant at Wetheringsett Manor, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with additional and complex needs to access learning and reach their full potential. Working closely with teachers and specialists, you will provide tailored one-to-one and small group support, helping to deliver engaging and creative learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom.

You will support pupils' academic progress alongside their social, emotional, and behavioural development, creating a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where they can thrive. Building positive, trusting relationships will be at the heart of everything you do, helping pupils to grow in confidence and overcome barriers to learning.
