We are a Special Secondary School (11-19 years) for pupils with Severe/Profound Learning Difficulties. While experience is preferred, full training will be provided to support young people with a range of additional needs, including sensory impairments, complex medical needs, or social interaction difficulties. Opportunities for career development and further training are available.
The role involves working across two sites within Stockport, including community and local facilities. All staff work within a supportive, multidisciplinary team, and staff development is strongly encouraged. There are also opportunities for paid additional work in after-school clubs and holiday programs.
This is a rewarding role for the right candidate. The position is subject to enhanced DBS clearance, and the school has a rigorous safeguarding policy.
