Axcis are working with an inclusive school in the heart of St Helens, and we are seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a long-term basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about working with young people with Special Needs and who is dedicated to helping them achieve their full potential.
As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs. You will work closely with the teaching staff to provide high-quality support to pupils between 5 and 16 years old. This is an exciting and challenging role that requires energy, enthusiasm and a genuine commitment to making a positive difference in the lives of young people.
We are looking for candidates who have previous experience working with children or young adults - this can be from within a range of settings such as education, care or youth work. You should have excellent communication skills and be able to build strong relationships with both students and staff.
Working hours would be from 08:30 am to 3:30 pm. Hourly rates from £12.50 PAYE INDLIV.
