Job summary

Aspire Academy Trust is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join a thriving school in St Austell. The role is 16.25 hours per week, term time plus 2 INSET days, on a fixed term basis until 31st August 2027. Experience with Key Stage 1 and phonics support would be advantageous, helping to support children's learning and development.

The successful candidate will work under the guidance of teaching staff to ensure high standards of pupil care and progress within the classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children in Key Stage 1 is advantageous.
• Experience with phonics support is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist teaching staff in KS1 lessons.
• Assist in phonics teaching and pupil support.
• Work 16.25 hours per week during term time plus 2 INSET days.
• Fixed term until 31 August 2027.
