Job summary

Connex Education is seeking a compassionate, calm and nurturing teaching assistant to support a child in Year 1 as soon as possible. The role involves supporting a child with SEN and helping with self-esteem and structure inside and outside the classroom.

You will collaborate with class teachers and the SENCO to deliver targeted learning strategies across the school, ensuring consistent support and inclusive learning for all pupils. DBS on update service or willingness to obtain one is required.

Qualifications

• Level 2/3 teaching assistant qualification is essential for this role.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in primary schools is essential.
• The ability to adapt to different learning needs.
• It is essential that you have a DBS on the update service, or willing to obtain a new one through Connex.
