Primary Teaching Assistant

Selby

Immediate Start

3-5 days per week

A friendly, inclusive primary school in Selby is currently seeking a competent Teaching Assistant to support in all year groups across the school as required. The successful candidate will deliver both General Teaching Assistant duties and SEN Support.

The Role

Each day will be different; you will provide cover as required across the school in EYFS, Key Stage 1, and 2.

Some days you will be required to deliver 1:1 support for children with SEN, so experience in this area would be beneficial.

The hours of work are Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 3.30pm, term time only.

Requirements

The desired Teaching Assistant will have:

1. Experience in supporting children with SEN would be beneficial.
2. A kind and positive attitude with a genuine passion for working with children.
3. MUST be able to commit to 5 days per week, Monday - Friday, term time only.
4. An enhanced DBS registered on the update service (or be happy to apply for one).
