Teaching Assistant Level 2 (Mornings Only) Year 5 EHCP Support
Werneth Primary School, Oldham
Hours: 8:30am 12:30pm (Monday to Friday)
Contract Type: Part-time
Start Date: 2nd June 2025

The Supply Register is looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our supportive team for a role at Werneth Primary School on a morning-only basis, working in Year 5 with two pupils who have Education Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualised support to two EHCP pupils in Year 5, helping to meet their learning, emotional and social needs.

  • Work collaboratively with the class teacher and SENDCo to deliver targeted interventions and differentiated support.

  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

  • Support with classroom routines, learning activities and the monitoring of pupil progress.

The successful candidate will:
  • Hold a TA2 qualification (or equivalent).

  • Have experience working with children with SEND, particularly those with EHCPs.

  • Be patient, empathetic and nurturing in their approach.

  • Be reliable, flexible, and work effectively as part of a team.
