In September 2019, MacIntyre Academies Trust opened a new academy in Rugby, Warwickshire, in a purpose-built state-of-the-art building for children and young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs and/or autism, aged between 7 and 17 years. The academy features specialist facilities including a sensory room, therapy room, immersive classroom, soft play area, recording studio, and photography suite. We offer a holistic curriculum with blended therapy in the classroom. Our community-oriented approach includes a café for parents and pupils to display and purchase their work.
Initially located in Nuneaton, the academy started with 30 pupils in September 2017, increasing to 55 in 2018, and currently serves 97 pupils. MacIntyre Academies is sponsored by MacIntyre Charity, a reputable organization with over 50 years of experience in person-centered education and support.
At Quest Academy, we provide a nurturing, inclusive environment for learners with Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC) and SEMH difficulties, aged 7 to 19 (with transition at 16). We focus on nurturing individuals, celebrating their uniqueness, and unlocking their potential. The Principal seeks to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to work across all key stages.
