St Mary's Catholic Primary School in England seeks a proactive teaching assistant to support staff in the Foundation stage and beyond. You will implement agreed work programmes with individuals and groups, assist with planning and resource preparation, and help maintain order so pupils stay focused.
The role requires a commitment to the Catholic ethos, excellent communication, and the ability to form positive relationships with children and adults to support early literacy and numeracy
To work under the guidance of teaching/senior staff and within an agreed system of supervision, to implement agreed work programmes with individuals/groups, in or out of the classroom. This could include those requiring detailed and specialist knowledge in particular areas and will involve assisting the teacher in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources. The primary focus will be to maintain good order and to keep pupils on task.
