We are currently looking for Teaching Assistants in the Romsey area to cover bookings in local Primary Schools. As Teaching Assistants, you may be required to work as a general Teaching Assistant; helping the teacher as and when needed and providing care and support for any students needing assistance!

You may also be required to work 1:1 with students that have special educational needs or challenging behaviours, so if you have some background and experience in a care setting then we would also like to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with teachers to facilitate lesson delivery and classroom activities as a Teaching Assistant.

• Offer one-on-one or small group assistance to students, following teacher directives.

• Aid in the preparation of learning materials and resources in your role as a Teaching Assistant.

• Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment, contributing to its maintenance.

• Cultivate positive relationships with students and provide support for their social and emotional development as a Teaching Assistant.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.

• A genuine passion for education and a commitment to the well-being of students.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic educational setting.

• The ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.
